Casabuena B&B - La Paz

Nice hotel with great free wifi, outdoor dining area, and a lovely outdoor swimming pool. During my first stay, the staff helped me with sim cards. Highly recommend this spot for a relaxing getaway. I'm coming back for Xmas!

All the staff was great and greeted us warmly. Double room was wonderful and well-equipped with a large balcony.

the location was particularly good, close to la paz, the best authentic seafood restaurant and the malecon. double room was quiet with great bed. all the staff was nice and great, tackled my issues.

Location: the hotel was not far from the Malecon and downtown, the port and the best authentic seafood restaurant in the area. Tried some nice meals at La Parilla Nortena, located near the venue. We stayed in a reasonably spacious and quiet room that had climate control, a microwave oven and a fridge. It had a great bed and pillows.

The ambiance is almost charming, but the overall cleanliness is just disappointing, with moldy shower curtains and strong dog barking. I hardly received any warm water which is so unacceptable. A complimentary upgrade or any special treatment would have been appreciated but alas, that was just a dream, I almost gave a good review but just couldn't.

great spot for exploring la paz and nearby parks

The location is excellent, just a short walk to the malecon and charming eateries like Minato Sushi and Rosticeria California were good that la paz has to offer while enjoying peaceful park views. The protective gated environment provided a safe and cute atmosphere .

Finding the place on GPS proved challenging, partly due to unclear street signs and one-way streets. Walking to the beach with kids reminded me of a trek, less than ideal. Breakfast options needed improvement. The muffins and granola were overly sweet, the fruit choice limited to low-quality bananas and apples, and the bed offered little comfort with a hard mattress.

The outdoor dining area is appealing and cozy.

My experience was quite disappointing due to several issues with cleanliness. The room I stayed in had mold on the shower curtain and unkempt tiled edges. The breakfast provided was utterly inedible. The coffee was bad, and the muffins were dry and flavorless. I found the barking of dogs to be quite bothersome, as the owner allows pets on the premises and my rest was frequently interrupted.

Consider asking for a room away from common areas to minimize noise from barking dogs and enjoy a quieter stay.

Loved the tranquil feel, especially the communal breakfast culture and the inviting pool. The air conditioning was a bit temperamental but overall a delightful stay.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way, thanks to its peaceful setting, unique history as a private residence, and fantastic staff, making it a place I would highly recommend.

The owners were super inviting and provided fresh muffins, which we loved! The place is close to great diving spots that have been on Animal Planet and Discovery Channel. It really reminded me of home, and we'd return!

We faced some issues with room assignments that were confusing. One of our friends had to deal with constant requests to switch rooms.
